TOKYO (MacHouse) – The Internet became a dangerous place a long time ago partly because of its anonymous nature. And some people seem to be willing to go all the way because they think their identity is sealed.

Little Disc+ Updated to 2.1.4

MacHouse freeware Little Disc






TOKYO (MacHouse) – MacHouse, the software developer of many Mac freeware applications, has updated its disc image utility to 2.1.4 with many fixes and improvements. One new feature is called Create Blank Read/Write Disc Images, allows users to create a multiple number of blank read/write disc images (DMG, SPARSEBUNDLE, SPARSEIMAGE) up to 100 consecutively at a time.

This QuickTime Overview video shows the basic workflow of Little Disc+, a Mac software title programmed and distributed by MacHouse. With help of more than several command-line tools, Little Disc+ allows users to convert, extract, make, split disc images. It’s not just disc images that Little Disc+ can handle. Little Disc+ is also capable of handling archives with extensions of .7z, .tar, .zip, .bz2, .rpm, .tgz, .gz, .rar.

    TOKYO (MacHouse) – MacHouse has updated its latest software release to 2.0.2. Little Disc+ utilizes more than several command-line tools to allow users to convert (BIN, DAA, DMG, GBI, IMG, ISO, TOAST, UIF), make (CDR, DMG, IMG, ISO), split (DMG) disc images. Little Disc+ can also read (listing the content) and decompress file archives (.7z, .tar, .rar, .zip, bz2, …). Or use Little Disc+ to compress folders into file archives (.7z, .gz, .zip, .bzip, .tar) with or without encryption.   Continue reading →

    TOKYO (MacHouse) – MacHouse is happy to announce that a new freeware title is about to be released for Mac OS users. It’s called Little Disc. Little Disc utilizes OSX’s UNIX application hdiutil to create, extract, split, convert, mount and unmount disc images. If you manually install the Mac version of PowerISO (free shell application for Mac OS), Little Disc can also handle such disc image formats as DAA, BIN, ISO, which are mostly used by Windows users.
