TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – It’s cold. It’s rainy. Actually, it has rained several straight days except yesterday, I think. I hope we can see a beautiful sunlight tomorrow. Maybe, not… According to a weather forcast, it won’t be sunny till Friday. For those who are saddened by days of rain, let me cheer you up by introducing you a new software title. It’s called DropZone 2.
This is an 8-year-old series. The initial release was named d-d Zone. It was dead for many years. And it’s now back to life as DropZone 2.
Imagine developing software from start to end all by yourself, writing code, designing an icon, designing promotion images and so forth. And you have to access this folder and that folder. If you wonder if there is a desktop application that lets you manage file storange folders altogether, DropZone 2 is one. You can register any number of (destination) folders and volumes. If the color of a drop box representing a particular destination folder is red, it means that it is currently not accessible. If you want to send files to any of destination folders, just drag and drop them onto a drop box in green. Continue reading
