What’s Coming Up Next? – Tom Bluewater Introducing Ride Watch for iOS

iOS Swift iPhone app Ride Watch

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – It rains quite a bit in September. We hardly see the sun this month. Anyway, I have one iOS app to introduce before this month ends. A new iOS app that I submitted to App Store a few minutes ago is called Ride Watch.

When you take a cab ride, you never know that the driver will take the shortest route. Who knows where a stranger will take you if you fall into sleep after a long night of parting? Ride Watch lets you monitor your ride, recording GPS positions. With an in-app purchase, Ride Watch will send you a local notification when your ride deviates from an expected route. The app will even let you simulate your ride in the past.   Continue reading

What’s Coming Up Next? – Tom Bluewater Introducing Family Track Central for iOS

iOS Swift iPhone app Family Track Central

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – Finally, the summer is over in the area where I live. That’s good. I hate to sweat. If it’s not good, that’s because it rains quite a bit. Anyway, I’m ready to introduce a new iOS app that I have been working on. It’s an iOS version of the desktop application that I released about 10 days ago. It’s called Family Track Central. Yeah, it’s the same name.

Family Track Central is an iOS version of an existing desktop application that helps you keep track of geographic locations of your family members in real time through their iOS devices. These days, most high school students own smartphones. When your child doesn’t come home before their curfew, wouldn’t you want to know where they are right now? Or wait for 72 hours so that the police can handle it as a missing person case and get a warrant by court from the cellular company? Wouldn’t it be nice if you get a local notification from your Mac when your family member approaches an area they are not supposed to go to? That’s what Family Track Central is about. It will let you pinpoint geographic positions of your family members on the map so that you can quickly find out where they are.   Continue reading

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – Earlier, I announced that I was releasing two applications at the same time. The other app to introduce is called Family Track Me.

Family Track Me helps your family keep track of your geographic locations. They must use Family Track Central (for macOS and iOS) to see your current location on the map in real time.   Continue reading

Mac application Family Track Central

TOKYO (Tom Bluewater) – I like summer days except that I hate to sweat. I feel that the end of the year is almost there when summer days are over. Anyway, I have worked very hard for the past two weeks despite those scorching temperatures. So I have a pair of software releases to announce today. One of them is Family Track Central.

Family Track Central is a desktop application that helps you keep track of geographic locations of your family members in real time through their iOS devices. These days, most high school students own smartphones. When your child doesn’t come home before their curfew, wouldn’t you want to know where they are right now?
