Sobonito Investments (hereafter, Sobonito), which is incorporated in Limassol, Cyprus, runs a website at imlive.com. It’s not the content this website has that we complain about. But it’s the way they have attempted to obtain visitors to their website. Several days ago, an associate of Sobonito attempted to post comments with plenty of hyperlinks to hometown.aol.com free webpages, at which visitors would be redirected to imlive.com. It’s a typical spam e-mail messages that goes around in the Hotmail community. The subject of the message is “FROM THE DESK OF MR AMBROISE. J.COMPAORE.” The message says that there is “an abandoned sum of US$12m dollars in an account that belongs to one of our for eign customer (Mr. ANDREAS SCHRANNER from Munich, Germany)”… And he continutes and tells you that he is willing to share this hidden treasure with you. It’s just a piece of junk e-mail that you should instantly trash. By the way, why does it come from a Hotmail account while the return address is a french Yahoo! Mail account? And the money is available in U.S. dollars though it belongs to a German gentleman? There isn’t much depature from the message that went around several years ago concerning a Nigerian widow or something.

Get a high school diplomat before entering the spam business.
