Mac Software Review: BetterZip 1.7
The Zip format has been around for quite some time even in the Mac community. It was never a popular archive format until 3 or 4 years ago. Those days, people were still using either disk image (.dmg) or StuffIt (.sit) more than Zip (.zip)
Some people still use StuffIt to pack a group of files. How do they pack files in the sit format? They use Smith Micro Software’s StuffIt Deluxe.
There are a few useful features that have made StuffIt Deluxe unique. No. 1, StuffIt Deluxe lets users split large archive files into parts. No. 2, StuffIt Deluxe allows users to preview files packed in archives before they unpack them. No. 3, StuffIt Deluxe allows users to password-protect archive files.

Mac Software Review: Dragoman 1.1

Mac Software Review: Live Interior 3D 1.5 Standard Edition
What an incredible Mac-only app… Live Interior 3D is just like Electronic Arts’ hit game series The Sims. You can create interior design by placing items and changing wallpapers. Or you can start from a scratch with pillars and walls. By the way, Live Interior 3D is developed by the same software company that brings to Mac a great logo design application called Art Text, which we introduced nearly 6 months ago. To be honest, I’ve been using Live Interior 3D for just a couple of hours. So I don’t know whole a lot about it. Anyway, let’s see it works! Continue reading
