Comic Life… I personally used it for the first time about two years ago. And I thought “Whoa!” It’s one of the few Mac-only applications that MacHouse recommends to other fellow Mac users. And we decided to start a new video tutorial series with Comic Life.
By the way, Comic Life is developed and distributed by plasq. It is also distributed by Mac game developer Freeverse. Moreover, it seems that plasq is currently developing a Windows version of Comic Life. Until a Windows version is available, Comic Life is a Mac-only application.
For the next several days, we will be releasing three to four video tutorials just for Comic Life. In these tutorials, we will explain basic functions of Comic Life Deluxe by working on a project from the beginning. Eventually, we will export it in HTML and QuickTime.
In the third video tutorial of the series, we export the final Comic Life document in HTML and QuickTime slideshow. We also send a Comic Life document to iPhoto. By sending it to iPhoto, we want to add a piece of music to the slideshow and embed a transition effect between pages. For more information on QuickTime slideshows, you are advised to watch a separate video tutorial just for iPhoto’s slideshow function.
All the photos used in this series are from Webshots.
