How to Configure Wireless Routers (Mac Only)

This VTC shows how to use a non-Apple wireless router as Access Point on Mac. A wireless router we use in the VTC is one from Planex Communicaions Inc. How to set up a wireless router is pretty much the same whoever makes it, Buffalo, Corega, D-Link, IO Data, Linksys, NEC, Netgear, Panasonic or whatever, as long as you can access it with an Internet browser. So you don’t necessarily have to have a Planex router to learn how to set up a Wireless router through this VTC.

The topics this VTC covers include WEP, WPA, SSID, SSID Broadcast, Port Forwarding, Mac Address, UPnP. Furthermore, this VTC assumes that the Mac comes with AirPort Extreme, a wireless card.
