TOKYO (MacHouse) – So far, we’ve submitted 4 software titles to Mac App Store this month. The most difficult part is come up with a new development idea these days. So it’s not easy for us to get our hands on a 5th or 6th application within the same month. Oh, whoa… Here comes the 5th software submission of the month. This new software submission is called TextAround.
TextAround is a desktop application that lets you easily design colorful, circular text. You can apply a color gradation to text. What you see is what you get. And you can save this circular text as an image in BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PNG or TIFF.

- Add any number of color stops to create a color gradation.
- Apply shadow to text with your selection of color and blur radius.

Version history

- Change: The ticks are removed around the circular slider, which is used to the angle of circular text. Because of these ticks, the user could previously rotate the dial control by 10 degrees.

I bought the app from the MacStore but it doesn’t work when I open it. The program launches but I can never see the text I type in.
Please Advise,
Thank you for your contacting us. I’ll get back with you in 30 minutes or so.
If you take a close look at one of the screenshots above, there are several elements required for the application to display circular text.
I’m uploading a video tutorial with text commentary. But it’ll take another 3 hours or so as we are having a network problem now.
For those living in North America who complained at iTunes Connect that there was no way of reaching application’s support, let me say that all you have to do is look under the Help menu. Before they complain that there’s no user’s guide and give the application a 1-star rating out of frustration, let me add one more statement. Please look under the Help menu for user’s guide.
