TOKYO (MacHouse) – A new software title is available. It’ll probably be the last one for this month. This software title is called Color2Code

We’ve developed Color2Code because we wanted a simple application that returns the hexadecimal code, RGB and HSV values for a color the user selects. We develop Mac apps and often use Adobe products just to get the RGB values of some colors. Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop are great products. But it’ll just take too many steps to get the hexadecimal code or RGB values of selected colors.

Color2Code gives the user three different ways of picking colors. You can simply pick a color swatch, and Color2Code will immediately return the associated color values. You can also drag and drop individual picture files onto a drop box, and Color2Code will scan it for the color at specific coordinates. After developing a color list, you can even export those colors in the list as swatch files (BMP, JPEG, PNG, PSD, SGI as export formats).
Got multiple files to scan? Switching to Pixel Picker, you can import any number of picture files to scan for the color at specific coordinates. And you can export a color list as a text file.
