Hello.
Does UnpackX gueranteed open password-protected RAR-Archives ?
I mean all types and all encrypted.
Thanks.
Regards,Fred Kämmerer, Germany
Mr. Kämmerer,
As long as those archives are single files, not coming with parts, the answer is yes. According to its user’s guide, you would choose RAR* where the * indicates encryption.
Hello,
I just bought the UnpackX on Mac Appstore, but it don´t work at all?
When I drag the bin.file in to the red box, the “work in progress” starts up…..but the export folder is empty. What is wrong?
Best regards
Preben Breinholt
I’ll get with you in a minute.
Okay. I’m sorry for the delay. I had to look for a sample file. Anyway, actually, it works for me. You can watch a short desktop movie by clicking on here. If it doesn’t work for you, probably, you are dragging and dropping a wrong file format? According to application user’s guide (Help > User’s Guide on UnpackX), the bin format that this application supports is a compression archive for Windows.
I just exported a MSI file, but the destination files are blank. When i open the ‘EXE’ file, it is just a blank document. I purchased this program as i thought it was going to extract out a usable EXE file?
Please advise,
Sonia
I’ll get back with you in 10 minutes or so.
The software product description at Mac App Store does say it works with MSI. That should be a mistake as application’s user’s guide doesn’t mention it. I must apologize. Please request a refund though Mac App Store.
Hello,
I just watched your video from May 11th, 2013 9:27am. Your reply to Preben Breinholt about .bin files. I’m having the same problem. I’ve followed the instructions and the app does not work. Is there a solution other than a refund?
Jason
Jason, I’m sorry to hear about your trouble. No, there is no solution other than a refund. Please contact Mac App Store to get your money back if it doesn’t work with your bin files.
Good day! i got a program but cannot launch it… can you tell me wats wrong with that?
I’m sorry, Konstantin. This application has not been updated for several years. Please request a refund at Mac App Store.
