ViewSQL Pro is a neat application that is designed especially for software developers who use REAL Studio to build Mac applications. You never know if an application that is developed with REAL Studio will succeed in creating a database file. In fact, it can fail under Snow Leopard. Just because your app successfully generates a database file, that doesn’t mean it contains tables. REAL Studio causes so many problems under Snow Leopard these days.

ViewSQL Pro offers an easy of inspecting the contents of encrypted or non-encrypted REALSQL/SQLite database files. ViewSQL Pro will also let you create SQLite database files easily.

  1. Hi there:

bought this tool from the Apple store…how do I open a existing SQLlite DB?

  2. Hello,

Please switch the tab to View. Unless the database file is encrypted with REAL Studio, click on the Not encrypted radiobutton. Finally, drag and drop your SQLite database file onto the drop box to the left. For more information, application’s user’s guide may be helpful. (Help > User’s Guide.)

  3. Hi!

Just bought the product thinking there is a way to manage my existing database on my dedicated server. Did I buy the wrong produkt or did I just miss the purpose of this program?

  4. Mr. Frost,

This application lets you create SQLite database files and view the content of an existing SQLite database file. If this description doesn’t fit your needs, please contact Mac App Store to request a refund.
