Briefly: Apple Introducing New iMacs

TOKYO (MacHouse) – Today, Apple, Inc. introduced a new line of compact Mac models. All models come with Intel Core i3 (3.06 or 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3) or Core i5 (2.8 GHz Intel Core i5), the display size either being 21.5 or 27 inches. Also, a custom-configure order is possible with 2.93GHz Intel Core i7. Buyers of 21.5-inch models have an option of ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 256MB of GDDR3 or ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB of GDDR3 memory. 27-inch models are equipped with ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB of GDDR3 memory or ATI Radeon HD 5750 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. For now, iLife is not updated. So this line of models comes with iLife 09. Furthermore, all models comes with 2 2-GB SO-DIMMs (1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM). There are 4 SO-DIMM slots available.

Apple adds a new component to this line of iMac models. Apple has also released a new device. They call it Magic Trackpad. It’s a wireless (with Bluetooth) trackpad, first time being introduced to non-laptop models.
