So what kind of game is Left 4 Dead? If you watch the introductory cinematic movie, you will find out that some sort of an infection has hit a large city. If you have seen a 2008 movie ‘28 Days Later,’ you will get a quick idea about the game. Anyway, it’s an action movie involving a number of zombie creatures. A zombie game… If you are a Mac user, you may perhaps remember a 2005 game called Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel without a Pulse (developed by Wideload Games). Left 4 Dead is a bit different because it supports multiplayer game and co-op game. Also, Left 4 Dead has no solo-player campaign. Whether you play the game online or offline, it involves four players, of which 3 players may be controlled by the computer.
The following QuickTime movie is a game play video of Left 4 Dead. The first 4 minutes and 30 seconds of the movie shows game’s introductory cinematic video. Then it shows a single-player offline game play, starting with Chapter 1: The Apartments and then part of Chapter 2: The Subway, which are both from the campaign called No Mercy.
