TOKYO (MacHouse) – After being sick of writing code for two weeks, I’m finally back on my feet. A new software title that I submitted toMac App Store several minutes ago is called AudioHack.

AudioHack is a desktop application that lets you extract an audio track out of a video file (MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPG…). You can save an audio track as a Core Audio file (.caf) or an MPEG-4 file (.m4a) to your disk.

TOKYO (MacHouse) – If I run out of development ideas, what I usually do is to…, you know!? I often look for old applications that I can upgrade, which is the case for a new release that I submitted to Mac App Store several minutes ago. This new software submission is called Look4Faces 2

Look4Faces 2 is a desktop application that lets you scan a video clip and find frames containing one or more human faces. The second version of the Looks4Faces series lets you use not just a local video file but also a video clip hosted at a remote server.

What’s new?

  1. The user can use a video file located on a remote server.
  2. MPEG and other movie formats are supported.
  3. The user can see rectangular facial regions.
  4. It’s been developed from a scratch in Swift.
